Fresno, CA: Major Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41
1 Seriously Injured in Fresno Collision on Highway 41 near Van Ness Avenue

Fresno, California (July 19, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on Sunday morning in Fresno, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred at around 10:07 a.m. Sunday, July 18, on Highway 41, just south of Van Ness Avenue.
At least three vehicles collided in the southbound lane of Highway 41, the CHP said. Two of them were described as a 2006 black Toyota Corolla and a black-coloured SUV.

One patient, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was taken to a nearby hospital with major injuries.
The crash prompted the officers to temporarily close southbound lanes of Highway 41 while the investigation and cleanup took place.
