2 Critically Injured in Fresno Collision at Belmont Avenue and Grantland Avenue

Fresno, California (October 22, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning truck accident that left two people critically injured in Fresno.
The major injury crash happened at about 8:00 a.m., on October 21, at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Grantland Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a truck pulling a trailer drove in front of a car. The car, unfortunately, crashed into the driver’s side of the truck.
Several children aging from 8 to 12 years were in the car. Two of the children were allegedly not appropriately restrained, the CHP said.

Two people were critically injured in the accident. The injured parties were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
