Woman Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident at California Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard
Fresno, California (January 7, 2019) – A woman was killed after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Monday morning in the area of Fresno, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at 8:32 a.m. Monday, at California Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
As per the report, a woman believed to be in her 50s was walking in a crosswalk at the intersection when she was struck by a vehicle. The woman suffered critical injuries as a result of the collision.
Responding firefighters rushed the victim to Community Regional Medical Center where she later died.
Officials confirmed that the involved driver fled the scene after the collision and no arrests have been made at this time.
