3 Killed in Fresno Car Accident at Maple Avenue and Mono Avenue

Fresno, California (September 11, 2020) – Three people were killed in a head-on crash on Thursday night in Fresno, police said.
The two-vehicle crash happened at about 8:15 p.m., on September 10, at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Mono Avenue.
According to the authorities, a BMW collided head-on with a Hyundai at the intersection.
One of the vehicles was reportedly driving on Maple Avenue at about 100 mph when it suddenly veered into oncoming traffic, causing the accident.

Both drivers and a child in the Hyundai were pronounced dead at the scene.
One other patient in the Hyundai was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
