Fresno, California (January 16, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle accident that killed a 70-year-old man and left three other people injured on Saturday in Fresno.

The deadly accident occurred at the intersection of Brawley Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle operated by the 70-year-old man drove through a stop sign and directly into the path of another car.

Unfortunately, the two vehicles collided and acquired significant damage, the officials said.

Sadly, the 70-year-old man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

The 46-year-old driver of the other car and two passengers, a 45-year-old and a 4-year-old suffered minor injuries and were transported to CRMC for treatment.

It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
