Male Cyclist Hospitalized after Fresno Crash on Ashlan Avenue near Peach Avenue
Fresno, California (February 8, 2021) – A male cyclist was injured on a Sunday in Fresno, authorities said.
The crash occurred on February 7, on Ashlan Avenue near Peach Avenue.
According to the police, the man was heading east on Ashlan Avenue and attempting to beat traffic and cross the street when an SUV struck him.
The driver of the SUV allegedly did not see him.
The bicyclist was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
