Fresno, California (November 14, 2020) – One person died following an alleged hit-and-run bicycle accident Friday night in Southeast Fresno.
The Fresno police responded to the deadly crash site in the morning hours near Cedar and North.
The accident involved a white GMC Yukon travelling at a high-speed rate over the tracks and a bicycle.
The GMC Yukon was reportedly moving around the railroad crossing arms near Cedar and North before striking the bicyclist.
Meanwhile, the involved driver did not stop to render aid and escaped the scene.
Fatal Fresno Bicycle Accident Friday Night
Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The Fresno Police Department is gathering more evidence to locate the suspect.
