Fresno Accident at Highway 145 and Clinton Avenue Injures 4 People
Fresno, California (May 24, 2021) – Four people were hospitalized after being involved in an alleged DUI car crash at an intersection in Fresno Sunday evening, May 23.
Officials responded to the major injury crash site at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the area of Highway 145 and Clinton Avenue.
A Jeep operated by a suspected DUI driver slammed into the front yard of a house near the intersection after it lost control and swerved off the highway.
Due to the impact, a boy was ejected from the Jeep.
Major Injury Fresno Car Accident
The ejected boy and a second child riding in the car as a passenger sustained major injuries and were rushed to an area hospital via ambulance for medication.
A 28-year-old mother was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injures. It was not mentioned whether the woman was also ejected from the SUV at the crash time.
The 34-year-old motorist, possibly the father of the family, survived with minor injuries following the collision.
The cause of the accident remains under investigations.
