Fresno, California (March 21, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision Wednesday evening at an intersection in Fresno, according to authorities.

The collision happened at around 5:28 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Highway 41 and Manning Avenue.

As per the officials, one vehicle ran a red light and hit another before crashing into a signal pole. The pole was still standing following the collision.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. One person was transported to Community Regional Medical Center while another one was transported to Saint Agnes Medical Center. The two patients were treated for minor injuries.

The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately known. No additional information concerning this incident was provided.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
