Fresno, CA: 1 Injured in Traffic Crash at Kearney Boulevard and Chateau Fresno Avenue
1 Hospitalized after Fresno Crash at Kearney Boulevard and Chateau Fresno Avenue
Fresno, California (March 7, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital after a traffic crash that happened Saturday morning at an intersection in Fresno, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The victim was a female party who sustained minor injuries in the crash that happened at around 10:52 a.m. at W Kearney Boulevard and S Chateau Fresno Avenue.
CHP said a driver of a white Jeep Wrangler called authorities to report that they collided with a gray Kia Optima.
The reporting party said they were westbound on Kearney at Chateau Fresno when the collision occurred. The Jeep was blocking Chateau Fresno after the collision.
A female party in one of the vehicles was bleeding from the mouth. Paramedics responded to the scene and took the victim to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The Kia was towed away from the crash scene.
CHP is investigating to determine the factors that may have led to the crash.
