Person Killed in Fremont Pedestrian Accident at Warm Springs and Mission Boulevards
Fremont, California (March 7, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by two vehicles Thursday evening at an intersection in Fremont, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The tragic accident, which was reported at around 7:30 p.m., happened at Warm Springs and Mission boulevards.
For an unknown reason, the pedestrian was hit by two vehicles of unspecified type and built.
The pedestrian died in the accident. The name of the deceased victim has not been released pending identification and notification of next kin.
A Sig-Alert was issued at around 7:54 p.m. blocking the westbound lanes of Mission Boulevard at Warm Springs.
The crash remains under investigation.
