Major Injuries Sustained 880 Freeway Crash near Fremont Boulevard in Fremont
Fremont, California (October 19, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that occurred early Saturday morning in Fremont.
CHP said the major injury collision took place at about 4:31 a.m. on southbound 880 Freeway, near Fremont Boulevard off-ramp.
Three vehicles collided and one of them overturned in the slow lane.
Authorities requested an ambulance to the scene to transport an unknown number of victims who sustained major injuries to the hospital.
At least two of the cars were towed away from the crash scene.
Authorities will establish the cause of the crash when they conclude their investigations.
