Rider Hurt in 680 Freeway Motorcycle Collision near Auto Mall Parkway in Fremont
Fremont, California (January 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision that happened Friday afternoon on 680 freeway in Fremont, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident took place at about 12:38 p.m. on the northbound lanes of the freeway, just north of Auto Mall Parkway off-ramp.
According to CHP officers, the motorcyclist collided with a white Toyota Prius and a Dodge Charger.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help the rider who sustained a fractured left ankle.
The firefighters closed the No. 3 lane following the accident.
