At Least 1 Injured after Fremont Accident on 680 Freeway near Auto Mall Parkway
Fremont, California (March 10, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in the area of Fremont, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 1:20 a.m. Sunday, on northbound 680 Freeway, just south of Auto Mall Parkway on-ramp. The vehicles were blocking lane 2 and 3 following the collision.
As per the officials, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. A female party in one of the vehicles sustained a bleeding face as a result of the collision. The patient’s names and her current condition were not immediately available.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
All lanes were opened as of 3:00 a.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
