Frederick Mahoni ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Menlo Park Crash on U.S. Highway 101 near Willow Road Off-Ramp
Menlo Park, California (April 21, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was killed early Saturday morning in a traffic accident in Menlo Park has been identified as Frederick Mahoni, 34, of East Palo Alto, according to police.
The deadly accident took place at around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20 on northbound Highway 101, just south of the Willow Road exit, near the border between Menlo Park and East Palo Alto.
The CHP said Mahoni was riding his 2008 Suzuki motorcycle on northbound Highway 101 when for an unknown reason he collided with a 2014 Jeep SUV. Both vehicles sustained bad damages upon the impact.

Mahoni was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 35-year-old San Jose man, who was the driver of the Jeep, was uninjured in the crash. He complied with investigators and was not found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
