21-Year-Old Franklin Suazo Killed in Richmond Car Crash on Interstate 80 near San Pablo Avenue
Richmond, California (October 1, 2019) – 21-year-old Franklin Suazo has been identified as one of the victims killed in a multi-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Richmond, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal wreck happened at around 4 a.m. on Interstate 80 near the San Pablo Avenue exit.
CHP said four vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of I-80 for unknown reasons.

At least two parties died in the wreck including Suazo. The identity of the second deceased has not yet been not released.
All westbound lanes of I-80 were closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
