Frank Wang Fatal Pedestrian Crash at California Circle and Dixon Landing Road in Milpitas
Frank Wang ID’d as Elderly Man Killed in Milpitas Pedestrian Accident at California Circle and Dixon Landing Road
Milpitas, California (February 22, 2019) – The elderly man who was struck and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in Milpitas on Thursday morning has been identified as Frank Wang, 84, of Milpitas.
According to the Milpitas Police Department, the incident happened at about 8:08 a.m. February 20 at the California Circle and Dixon Landing Road intersection.
Police said Wang was crossing the intersection in the crosswalk when he was hit by a white 2015 Ford F-150.
Wang was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
Police said alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
