Francisco Garza and Rosa Garza Killed in Car Crash on Highway 101 near 280 Freeway
San Jose, California (December 2, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identities of two people who were killed in a car accident in San Jose on Sunday morning.
According to a local news source, the fatal car crash happened on Highway 101 near Interstate 280 Freeway at about 4:10 a.m. December 1.
21-year-old Esteban Aguilar Jimenez was driving a Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a Nissan Rogue driven by 34-year-old Francisco Garza for unknown reasons.
A passenger in the Nissan, 61-year-old Rosa Garza, was killed in the accident.
Francisco and a second unidentified passenger were transported to Regional Medical Center of San Jose.
Sadly, Francisco died while undergoing treatment.
Jimenez was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
