Fountain Valley, California (June 24, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a car in Fountain Valley Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pedestrian collision was reported at approximately 9:08 a.m. June 24, at the Warner Avenue on-ramp to the Interstate 405 Freeway.
The CHP report indicated that a pedestrian was struck by a burgundy Hyundai Genesis while crossing the on-ramp for unknown reasons.

Paramedics responded at the site to help the wounded pedestrian following the collision. The extent of the injuries suffered, and the name of the victim has not yet been disclosed to this time.
It appeared the motorist of the involved Hyundai stopped and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
The crash remains under an active investigation by the CHP.
