1 Killed in Fortuna Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101
Fortuna, California (August 27, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a truck in the area of Fortuna early Tuesday morning.
The collision occurred at around 1:00 a.m. August 26, on northbound Highway 101 in Fortuna.
As per the report, a pedestrian was struck by a Dodge truck on the roadway for unknown reasons.

The Fortuna Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and found the victim laying on the roadway near the Main Street exit.
The driver of the Dodge truck was located shortly after the crash in Loleta.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the accident.
