Injuries Sustained in Highway 101 Collision near Metropolitan Road in Fortuna
Fortuna, California (September 20, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a car crash that occurred Monday afternoon in Fortuna resulting in minor injuries.
The incident took place at around 1:37 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 near Metropolitan Road, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
Authorities responded to the scene and located two vehicles that collided for unknown reasons.
Minor injuries were sustained in the accident. It was not clear if the patients were treated at the scene or hospitalized.
Authorities will determine the cause of the crash when they conclude their investigation.
