Woman Injured in Fontana Car Crash on Hemlock Avenue and Merrill Avenue

Fontana, California (April 8, 2019) – A female driver was hospitalized after two vehicles collided head-on on Friday night in Fontana, as per a local news source.
The accident took place at about 9:20 p.m. April 5, in the 900 block of Hemlock and Merrill Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said a white Toyota Corolla was southbound on Hemlock Avenue when it was struck by a grey Nissan Versa which was heading north.

The driver of the Toyota was injured and taken to the local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Nissan exited the vehicle and tried to walk away but was prevented from leaving by the witnesses until the police arrived.
The crash remains under investigation.
