7 Injured in Fontana Car Crash near Citrus and Ceres Avenues

Fontana, California (December 20, 2019) – Seven people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday night in Fontana, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at about 9:30 p.m. December 18, near Citrus and Ceres avenues.
According to the news source, a driver in a Honda failed to stop for a Fontana School Police officer and fled, traveling west on Ceres Avenue.
The Honda then failed to stop for a stop sign at Citrus Avenue and collided with a mini-SUV traveling southbound on Citrus Avenue.
Seven Injured in Fontana 2-Car Crash
A family of six was riding in the Mini-SUV at the time of the collision and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The six people, including four children, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Honda was hospitalized with a broken leg. He is expected to face charges in connection with the incident.
