Fontana, California (January 5, 2021) – A traffic collision involving three vehicles on a highway in Fontana on Sunday left two victims dead and three others hurt.

The wrong-way multi-vehicle collision took place at approximately 2:07 a.m., on January 3, on 210 Freeway just east of Citrus Avenue.

A 2007 Lexus, driven by a 40-year-old Moreno Valley woman, eastbound in the westbound HOV lane of the interstate, crashed with a 2019 Honda that was operated by a 35-year-old Sylmar westbound in the HOV lane.

The Lexus in the process then struck a 2000 Toyota that was in the No. 3 lane.

Due to the impact, the Toyota rolled over.

2 Dies After Three Vehicles Crashed in Fontana

A 30-year-old Tujunga man and a 30-year-old Sylmar woman riding in the Honda were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Lexus and Honda operators were hospitalized with major injuries while the Toyota motorist survived with minor injuries.
