1 Person Injured in Fontana Crash at Cherry Avenue and Whittram Avenue
Fontana, California (January 27, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday night traffic accident that left at least one person injured in Fontana.
The accident occurred at about 9:35 p.m., on January 24, at the intersection of Cherry Avenue and Whittram Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Toyota pickup truck collided with another vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and found one of the drivers had passed out.
The driver was aided by the paramedics at the scene. It was not clear if the patient was taken to the hospital.
The other driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
