Felipe Sandoval Arrested after Los Banos Car Accident on Ingomar Grade
Los Banos, California (July 10, 2019) – A driver was arrested after a suspected DUI collision that occurred on Monday afternoon in Los Banos, according to the CHP.
The crash took place at about 4:45 p.m. July 8, on Ingomar Grade south of Cottonwood Road.
CHP said Felipe Sandoval, 24, of Los Banos, was driving a 1994 Honda southbound on Ingomar Grade when he made an unsafe turn and crossed the double yellow lines. The Honda collided head-on with an oncoming 2006 Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota was stuck inside the wreckage and had to be helped out by the emergency crews.

The driver of the Toyota sustained major injuries and was transported by helicopter to a Modesto hospital.
Sandoval was also taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
CHP is investigating the accident.
