Farmington, California (June 20, 2021) – A rider was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a traffic collision in Farmington Saturday night, the California Highway Patrol said.

The motorcycle crash happened in the area of Escalon-Bellota Road and Highway 4 at approximately 10:25 p.m.

The accident involved a sports bike and a silver 4-door sedan that crashed on northbound Escalon-Bellota Road, just south of Highway 4 for undetermined reasons.

Due to the impact, the car reportedly acquired rear-end damage.

The unidentified motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for medication.
