Five Hospitalized after Fallbrook Collision on Interstate 15 near State Route 76

Fallbrook, California (July 17, 2021) – Five people were hospitalized Friday night following a traffic collision in Fallbrook, authorities said.
The wreck occurred at around 11:03 p.m. Friday, July 16, on Interstate 15, just north of State Route 76.
According to the authorities, two vehicles collided under unclear circumstances on the interstate.

A total of five people were injured in the crash. Three of them were transported to Children’s Hospital.
The fourth patient was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, while the fifth victim was taken to Palomar Medical Center.
The identities of the victims and their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The crash prompted the authorities to temporarily close the freeway as the investigation and clean up took place.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
