57-Year-Old Fairfield Man Killed in Solano County Motorcycle Crash on Mankas Corner Road near Ledgewood Road

Solano County, California (October 26, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night in a traffic collision in Solano County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The deadly solo-motorcycle crash happened at about 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, on Mankas Corner Road, just west of Ledgewood Road.
As per the CHP report, a 57-year-old Fairfield man was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Mankas Corner Road when he failed to turn on a sharp right curve and veered off the road.
The motorcyclist then crashed into a drainage trench and struck a concrete ledge.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
It is undetermined whether drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
