Fairfield, California (September 4, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a car crash in Fairfield on Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 Freeway near Abernathy Road at about 6:56 p.m., September 3.
The authorities who responded to the incident found a gray Kia SUV and a blue Dodge Durango at the scene of the collision. Although the events leading up to the accident were yet to be established, the Kia is reported to have suffered major front-end damage.
As per the CHP report, one person sustained minor injuries in the collision.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
