1 Hospitalized after Fairfield Car Accident on Highway 12 near Chadbourne Road
Fairfield, California (August 15, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after a Fairfield car accident that happened Friday afternoon on Highway 12.
The three-vehicle crash happened at about 4:28 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway just east of Chadbourne Road.
A Chevrolet Silverado 1500, an Acura sedan and a Toyota Avalon were involved in the crash for unknown reasons.
An off-duty Walnut Creek Police Department officer was at the scene and informed authorities that one person was injured and required an ambulance.
Fairfield firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the victim. The person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The vehicles were towed away from the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
