Evaristo Barrera Seriously Injured in Crash on East Lake Avenue in Watsonville
Evaristo Barrera Hospitalized after Watsonville Crash on East Lake Avenue near College Road
Watsonville, California (December 24, 2020) – Authorities have identified the man who was seriously injured in a traffic accident last month in Watsonville as Evaristo “Danny” Barrera.
The major injury accident happened on November 23, on East Lake Avenue south of College Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Randy Sanders was driving his Ford F-150 recklessly and was doing donuts in a dirt lot near East Lake Avenue.
The passenger door had opened and Barrera, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.
Evaristo Barrera Injured in Crash on East Lake Avenue
Barrera sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Sanders fled the scene and investigators issued an arrest warrant. He was arrested on Tuesday, November 23.
The crash remains under investigation.
