40-Year-Old Man Hurt in Eureka Pedestrian Crash on V and 6th Streets
Eureka, California (March 11, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday night in Eureka, according to the Eureka Police Department.
The incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. March 10, at V and 6th streets.
Police said a white Subaru Outback was traveling northbound on V Street when it struck a 40-year-old man who was heading east in the crosswalk.
The victim was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the Outback remained at the scene.
The identities of the parties involved were not immediately released.
Eureka police are investigating the incident.
