Minor Injuries Reported in Escondido Accident on 15 Freeway and Gopher Canyon Road
Escondido, California (January 14, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon in the area of Escondido, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The collision happened at around 3:39 p.m. Sunday, January 13, on southbound 15 Freeway and Gopher Canyon Road.
As per the report, a motorcycle and a black Suba Forester crashed for reasons still under investigation. The impact sent the rider to the median while the bike was on the right shoulder of the roadway after the accident.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition remained unknown.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
