Escondido, California (August 1, 2019) – Several people were injured in a crash involving school buses on Thursday afternoon in the Pauma Valley area, according to the CHP.
The collision happened just after 12 p.m. on State Route 76 near Valley Center Road, just north of Escondido.
CHP said two school buses and a U-Haul truck were involved in the crash.

CHP said several injuries were reported. The injuries were described as minor-to-moderate.
One bus was carrying 31 students and four counselors. It’s unclear whether students were among those injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
