Escondido, California (September 14, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that took place Monday morning on 15 Freeway in Escondido, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the accident involved one car and occurred at about 5:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway near Highway 78.
The vehicle allegedly rolled over in the crash.
A male party crawled out of the car and walked to the right-hand shoulder, as per the report.
Responding firefighters said one person was transported to the hospital. The victim sustained unspecified injuries.
Officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
