1 Severely Injured in Escalon Motorcycle Crash at E Mariposa Road and S Van Allen Road
Escalon, California (January 17, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle accident that happened Sunday morning at an intersection in Escalon, leaving one person with severe injuries.
The incident was reported at about 11:28 a.m. at East Mariposa Road and South Van Allen Road.
CHP said the accident involved a full dressed Harley Davidson motorcycle and a FedEx truck.
The rider appeared unresponsive after the crash, according to a reporting party.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one victim to the hospital. The patient sustained severe injuries, but their condition remained unknown.
The cause of the crash will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
