Minor Injuries Sustained in Encinitas Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 5 near La Costa Avenue

Encinitas, California (June 13, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a motorcycle accident that happened Saturday afternoon on a freeway in Encinitas, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the collision occurred at around 2:25 p.m. on Interstate 5 near La Costa Avenue.
According to the report, a motorcycle hit the back of a vehicle for unknown reasons.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the No. 1 lane.
The crash resulted in minor injuries to an unknown number of parties. An ambulance was sent to the scene to help the victims.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
