1 Person Seriously Injured in Encinitas Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 5 near La Costa Avenue Onramp
Encinitas, California (May 23, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday evening traffic accident that left a motorcyclist seriously injured in Encinitas.
The major injury motorcycle accident occurred at about 6:00 p.m., on May 21, on Interstate 5 near La Costa Avenue onramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black GMC Yukon collided with a motorcycle on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
The rider was seriously injured in the accident.
More details about the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
