Emelie Hjerten Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on Central Avenue in Chino
Emelie Hjerten ID’d as Driver Killed in Chino Accident on Central Avenue near G Street
Chino, California (December 17, 2020) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the driver who died in a single-vehicle traffic collision Monday night in Chino as Emelie Anna Hjerten, 18, of Chino.
The deadly crash happened at around 8:26 p.m. Monday, December 14, on Central Avenue, just south of G Street.
Authorities said a 2013 Toyota Prius was involved in the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and declared Hjerten dead at the scene.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation by the Chino Police Department.
