Elvia Bercian Fatally Hit by 3 Vehicles at Century Boulevard and Baring Cross Street in Vermont Vista
60-Year-Old Elvia Bercian ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in South LA Crash on Century Boulevard and Baring Cross Street
South LA, California (October 6, 2019) – The woman who was struck and killed by three vehicles at an intersection in the Vermont Vista neighborhood on Friday evening has been identified as Elvia Bercian, 60, according to Los Angeles police.
The crash happened at about 7 p.m. October 4, at Century Boulevard and Baring Cross Street.
Police said Bercian was walking north across Century Boulevard when an eastbound Toyota Corolla struck her. As she lay down the street, she was hit by a pickup truck whose driver fled the scene.
Elvia Bercian Killed in South LA Hit-And-Run Crash
Bercian was struck a third time by a red Kia Soul and both the Kia and Toyota drivers stopped at the scene.
Bercian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Los Angeles police are investigating the crash.
