Elson Salgado Identified as 22-Year-Old Man Killed in Los Angeles Car Crash on Venice Boulevard On-Ramp To San Diego (405) Freeway
Los Angeles, California (August 28, 2020) – Elson Salgado, 22, of Los Angeles, has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic accident on Monday morning in West Los Angeles, according to the coroner’s office
At around 4:52 a.m., on August 24, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident at the Venice Boulevard on-ramp to the San Diego (405) Freeway.
The CHP said a 2008 Audi A4, driven by Salgado, was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to negotiate a curve of the off-ramp and crashed down an embankment.

Sadly, Salgado was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 20-year-old Los Angeles woman, who was riding as a passenger in the Audi, sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
