Elk Grove, California (July 9, 2019) – A female party was killed in a traffic collision that involved multiple cars in Elk Grove Monday night.
The 3-vehicle collision occurred in the night hours, July 9, on Sheldon Road near Sheldon Creek Drive.
The accident happened when the woman who was driving eastbound on Sheldon Road was rear-ended by another motorist while making a turn. The initial report showed that the female party slowed down before making a turn at the time of the collision. Due to the impact, her vehicle clipped a third car and eventually came to rest at the median.

The woman was found unconscious by the paramedics following the wreck. She was flown to the hospital where she later succumbed of her injuries.
