1 Injured in Elk Grove Accident on Highway 99 near Grant Line Road On-Ramp
Elk Grove, California (March 18, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday night traffic crash that happened in Elk Grove, leaving one person with injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Nissan Versa collided with a Peterbilt semi-truck at around 9:13 p.m. on southbound Highway 99 at the Grant Line Road on-ramp.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked some lanes of the highway.
According to the report, one person complained of pain to the neck and back. An ambulance was requested to the scene to provide medical aid to the victim.
The report did not mention the cause of the crash, but authorities are investigating.
