Man Killed, Elias Navarro and Rene Rocha Injured in Car Accident on Orange Belt Drive near Avenue 184 in Porterville
Porterville, California (August 19, 2019 – Two people were killed in a car accident which left two other people injured in Porterville on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6:15 p.m. August 16, on Orange Belt Drive near Avenue 184.
A 63-year-old man was reportedly driving his Saturn southbound on the roadway when he was hit by a Dodge pickup truck driven by 61-year-old Elias Navarro of Porterville.
The impact of the collision sent the Saturn
into the path of a Honda Civic driven by 30-year-old Rene Rocha.

The driver of the Saturn and his male passenger were killed in the collision.
Navarro and Rocha were injured in the collision and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
