El Sobrante, CA: CHP Investigating Fatal Pedestrian Crash on San Pablo Dam Road

El Sobrante, California (April 1, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly pedestrian accident that happened Thursday morning in El Sobrante.

CHP said the accident happened at about 7:24 a.m. in the 4800 block of San Pablo Dam Road.

The pedestrian was struck by a blue Honda sedan under unclear circumstances.

Contra Costa County firefighters responded to the scene to find the victim lying in the slow lane.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other details about the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
