1 Person Killed in El Monte Motorcycle Crash at Lower Azusa Road and Peck Road

El Monte, California (February 21, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday evening in El Monte, authorities said.
The deadly motorcycle accident occurred at about 7:00 p.m., on February 20, at the intersection of Lower Azusa Road and Peck Road.
According to the police, a dark-colored 2014 four-door truck with chrome bumpers turned into the motorcycle’s path, causing the collision.
Fatal El Monte Motorcycle Crash
The male rider was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene.
El Monte police said that a second vehicle, a white sedan, might have run over the motorcyclist.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
