El Monte, CA: Fatal Suspected DUI Crash at Peck and Lower Azusa Roads
1 Person Killed, 1 Injured in El Monte Crash at Peck Road and Lower Azusa Road
El Monte, California (December 14, 2020) – One person was killed in a suspected DUI crash that left one other person injured on Sunday morning in El Monte, authorities said.
The deadly two-vehicle accident transpired at about 5:30 a.m., on December 13, at the intersection of Peck Road and Lower Azusa Road.
According to the police, a car collided with a truck at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck’s driver, who was suspected of driving while intoxicated, was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
