Man Hospitalized after El Dorado Motorcycle Accident at Highway 49 and Union Mine Road

El Dorado, California (May 14, 2019) – A 60-year-old man was hospitalized after a motorcycle collision Monday afternoon in the area of El Dorado, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at about 2:51 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Highway 49 and Union Mine Road.
As per the CHP officials, a man riding a motorcycle and a vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured party. The man was transported to Marshall Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The victim’s names and their current condition were not immediately known.
The motorbike was towed away from the crash site.
Information concerning the car involved was not immediately provided.
An investigation is underway.
