Minor Injuries Sustained in El Cajon Crash on Interstate 8 near Mollison Avenue
El Cajon, California (June 6, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-car collision that occurred Saturday afternoon in El Cajon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened at around 12:51 p.m. on Interstate 8, near Mollison Avenue.
CHP said three vehicles of unknown make and model collided in the westbound lanes under unclear circumstances.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
Only minor injuries were sustained in the crash, as per the report. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
CHP officers are collecting more information to determine the cause of the crash.
